Painted by life

If life is an artist, a painter, then we “ painted by life“ are a work of art. Yet this title has a rather negative connotation. Why is that? Does it have to do with the fact that we do not want to grow old? The ideal of beauty does not allow wrinkles? The advertising hammers us eternal youth?
What if our face and hands are a canvas and what if life itself is the brush and paint? What if we are all a work of art? A work of art that the longer we are locked into this painting of life, the more valuable we become. Wouldn’t aging be a cool thing then?

I had this thought once. It was so crazy that I couldn’t even express it. What if instead of older people longing for their youth back, young people looked forward to aging? Because it is real, because it is in the direction nature intends for us. Then a young girl would say to grandma, „Gee grandma, your wrinkles are soooo beautiful and I can’t wait until I have wrinkles that beautiful too“. Life is the painter and we are the canvas and the artwork. Unique and right, just as life as an artist has thought out for each of us.

In deep love I bow before this incredible beauty, these people depicted here.
